Description

The Spoerri exhibition house is located in the middle of Hadersdorf's main square, whose houses are protected as a historic monument, in the so-called "Hohenfurt House" from the late 16th and early 17th century. It was named after Hohenfurt Abbey, which originally owned the property and probably used it as an administrative building and dairy. After Daniel Spoerri acquired the house in 2008, he had the premises adapted for the purposes of an exhibition house. Regular visitors are always impressed by the tranquillity and comfort of the main building with its spacious courtyard and especially the garden behind the barn. Every year, changing exhibitions of works by Daniel Spoerri are shown in dialog with works by artist friends.
