Bush Mountain in Leiser Berge Nature Park

Mountain summit, Outdoor adventure, Scenic lookout

Description

As the highest elevation in the Weinviertel with 491 meters and the lowest located, year-round managed Alpine Club hut (opening hours year-round daily except DI and MI from 10:00), it offers a wonderful view over the diverse landscape with its fields, forests and dry meadows, which have been cultivated since the Neolithic Age.

Due to the partly plateau-like character of the forest and heath mountains, the Leiser Berge Nature Park, an extensive area around the Buschberg, is particularly well suited for comfortable family hikes.

The typical dry grassland provides an ideal habitat for an abundance of lime-loving plants. Nature and herb tours bring visitors closer to the vegetation in an impressive way.

This is an ideal excursion area with a lot of untouched nature and many entertaining offers, such as guided hikes, treasure camps with Betty Bernstein, astronomy events, herbal courses, forest experience days and time travel tours. On request, a children's birthday party can also be organized at the Buschberg.
The duration of the guided tours can be arranged individually. Guided tours are available for groups of 15 or more.
