Gloggnitz castle

Castle

Description

The former Benedictine fortified monastery towers on a hill above Gloggnitz. At the heart of the castle, which was first mentioned in a document in 1092, is the castle restaurant, the castle confectionery and the Gloggnitz registry office.
The inner courtyard and castle park are freely accessible all year round. The two 150-year-old sequoia trees growing in the castle park are a particular highlight.
