Ascents

Numerous hiking tours lead to the Hennesteck. Here is a small selection.

  • A very popular and family-friendly hike is the "Herzerlweg Annaberg" up to 1,334 meters. Since 2010, it has been possible to cross the entire mountain ridge from Annaberg on the so-called Herzerlweg. On the map, the route resembles the shape of a heart, hence the name. (Duration: 4h)

At the summit, a beautiful summit cross awaits the hikers. (Duration: 4h)
  • To the Anna-Alm is an easy and short tour over varied paths to the Anna-Alm where the view reaches up to the Wachau in good visibility. Starting point is the parking lot of the Annaberg lifts. (Duration: 1:15h)
