Surrounded by forests, ponds and moors lies Heidenreichstein - a small town in the northern Waldviertel. Nestled in this picturesque landscape is the KÄSEMACHERWELT, where the world of cheese is turned into an experience for cheese lovers of all ages.

As pioneers of vegetables and fruit filled with fresh cheese, we are very happy to provide insights into our antipasti production by demonstrating the careful processing of these specialties. We also offer the opportunity to get hands-on in our foam factory and provide interesting facts about our cheese production. At various stations, visitors can sample exquisite products from DIE KÄSEMACHER's extensive range.

The generous offer of the KÄSEMACHERWELT also includes the restaurant "Kaskuchl" with various regional delicacies and numerous cheese specialties, which can also be enjoyed on the terrace or in the beautiful garden in fine weather. A well-stocked store with hand-picked products from the region, a petting zoo and indoor and outdoor play areas for younger guests round off the offer.

The spacious rooms of the KÄSEMACHERWELT are available for events of all kinds. Family celebrations and weddings can be planned both indoors and outdoors.

Opened in 2012, the KÄSEMACHERWELT is now one of the most popular excursion destinations in the northern Waldviertel and is one of the Top Excursion Destinations in Lower Austria. The KÄSEMACHERWELT attracts around 40,000 visitors every year, including individual travelers, tour groups, day tourists, schools, clubs and event guests, and was awarded the Lower Austrian Tourism Prize in 2017.
