Description
On the Schwarzenberg above Gresten, climbing enthusiasts can expect 19 routes in 2 sectors at 950 meters above sea level, difficulty level 3-7 according to the UIIA scale.
With wall heights of 4 to 20 meters and mostly very solid rock, all routes can also be climbed as top ropes. The individual routes are marked at the entrances.
Thanks to the high location and the south-facing orientation of the rocks, the crag not only offers a great view as far as the Ötscher, but is also always easy to climb in winter and spring. The crag is located 6 km from the village center, the ascent from the parking lot takes around 25 minutes.
