Kneipp-Aktiv-Thayabad Drosendorf
Swimming site / lake
Description
The Drosendorf lido, also known as Thayabad, is a historic riverside bathing area directly on the Thaya and a wonderful place for summer fun and relaxation. It is known for its characteristic, elongated wooden pavilion, which was built as early as 1929 - there have even been bathing huts on this site since the 1880s. After a heyday in the 1930s and 1950s, it was later somewhat neglected, but was lovingly restored in 1993 and once again became an important meeting place in the community.
The lido not only offers refreshment in the water, but also space for rest and relaxation - perfect for enjoying the summer and leaving everyday life behind. The spacious sunbathing lawn is a wonderful place to relax. A buffet with summer cuisine, cool drinks, coffee and cake provides for your physical well-being.
Important: Dogs are not allowed in the lido.
