Kottingbrunn auf der Spur

Outdoor adventure

Description

Welcome to the culture and nature trail

The culture and nature trail "Kottingbrunn on the trail" is a project of the urban renewal of the market town of Kottingbrunn. Overview boards provide information about historical buildings and give an insight into the culture and history of Kottingbrunn. An attractive circular trail awaits young and old alike, with cultural monuments and lots of interesting facts about the local flora and fauna to discover.

Numerous adventure stations such as the tree xylophone, the sight and sound funnel or the long jump arena offer children fun and variety, making the visit an unforgettable experience for the whole family. The 23 stations were equipped with lovingly designed information boards. The illustrations were created by Ms. Eva Bonfert, who brought the historical monuments from bygone times back to life. Along the trail, oases of peace invite you to linger and enjoy the culture and nature trail with all your senses! The trail leads from the moated castle through the castle park, across the former racecourse grounds and back to the parish church near the moated castle. All stations are also provided with a QR code that guides visitors directly to the respective station.

Length: around 2.3 km
Walking time: approx. 1 hour

Tip for young and old treasure hunters!
A new geocache has been created along the culture and nature trail. Young and old alike can set off in search of Peter Ritter von Bohr's treasure. You can find more information here.
