Kreuzenstein Fortress

The majestic Kreuzenstein Castle rises some 260 meters above the Danube and can be seen from afar. A jewel for medieval fans, castle enthusiasts and lovers of romance, it offers a fully furnished castle that transports visitors back in time. Visits are only possible as part of a guided tour, which takes place on the hour and lasts between 45 and 60 minutes, depending on the size of the group. Special children's tours are offered for school classes.
