Description
The Mühlenloipe in the Hochneukirchner Au is a typical valley trail and therefore easy to master, even for beginners. It takes its name from the six mills that were once in operation along the Hochneukirchnerbach stream from its source to the Styrian border. The current status of the trail can be viewed on Bergfex.
There are three access points with parking facilities along the trail:
- Coming from Hochneukirchen at the Kranzmühle
- In the Zöbersdorf-Au 6 (former Loipenstüberl)
- In the direction of Styria at the Trettlermühle
The cross-country ski trail is 6 km long and can be used free of charge. Donations for the care and maintenance of the trail are welcome and boxes are available at the trail.
The "s'Hutwisch" inn in the center of Hochneukirchen offers regional and seasonal dishes to warm you up.
