Description
Eine Sonderausstellung "Was' wiegt, das hats" zeigt anhand von historischen Waagen "das rechte Maß, das richtige Gewicht".
The museum displays agricultural tractors from 1910 to 1941, including accessories and vehicle parts, as well as documentation on the development of tractors (from wooden gas tractors to steam engines and combustion engines). Tractor show of the Steyr company, models and originals of plows (wooden plows, steam plows, motorized plows, mounted plows for tractors), field implements (harrows, rollers, field grinders, cultivators).
A special exhibition at Europaschloss Leiben is dedicated to the “successful models”, unique pioneers of technology - especially agricultural technology.
And the fact that these custom-made experimental models are in no way inferior to their large replica originals in terms of functionality is demonstrated to the viewer straight away. “Movement and experience” are the key words for this exhibition. Some of the models need the visitors' help to get them up and running. And then it steams and hisses, rattles and puffs. In other words, a presentation that will not only excite young children, but also older “kids”.
Tip: A large free parking lot is available directly opposite Europaschloss Leiben, including an e-charging station.
