The Reblaus Express is often referred to as "the most beautiful connection between the Weinviertel and Waldviertel".
The 40 km long route between Retz and Drosendorf enchants with a varied and charming landscape. As you sit back and relax, you can enjoy views of vine-covered hills, romantic forests, sparkling ponds and picturesque towns and villages. Ten train stations invite you to linger and explore.
The train set consists of nostalgic, dark green carriages with characteristic open platforms, which are pulled by a diesel locomotive. The rustic Heurigen wagon, which is always on board, provides a special experience. Hearty delicacies, refreshments and excellent wines from the region are served there. Bicycles can be transported free of charge in the separate bicycle wagon.
