Schloss Fischau, Blau-Gelbe-Viertelsgalerie und Kulturstätte

Castle

Description

Bad Fischau Castle dates back to the 12th century and was partially renovated true to the original by the FORUM cultural and village renewal association. The two-storey building is now a year-round cultural venue with exhibitions, musical events, readings, seminars and workshops for adults and children.

The Blue and Yellow Quarter Gallery is located on the first floor of the castle and the Small Castle Gallery with a terrace overlooking the castle park is on the first floor. Works by various artists are presented here. The program ranges from high-quality contemporary art to works of classical modernism. This gallery is not only a place of art but also a meeting place. New trends in art, politics and society can be discussed and debated here, giving the gallery social significance.
