Schloss Weinzierl

Weinzierl Castle is located in a tranquil park in the village of Weinzierl near Wieselburg in the heart of the Mostviertel region. In its present form, it essentially dates back to the early 18th century. Its four-winged complex flanked by towers with a central arcaded courtyard not only enchants visitors to the traditional music festival with its late Baroque appearance.

The complex also includes an early baroque chapel with post-gothic elements. Today, the castle houses the management and administration of the Francisco Josephinum Higher Federal Teaching and Research Institute and is also a popular cultural and event center in the region.
