Donaustrand Mautern

The public bathing beach in Mautern bei Krems is located near the Mauten Danube bridge and the main road. A large sunbathing lawn with shady trees invites you to make yourself comfortable. Swimming in the Danube river with its current is free of charge and at your own risk. Dogs are allowed and a toilet container is available at the beach café.
A well-maintained beach volleyball court is also available. The beach cafe is open in good weather.
