Description
The Bergerhaus, located in the center of Gumpoldskirchen, has established itself as a cultural venue. Exhibitions are held all year round. The tourist office, which is also located in the Bergerhaus, runs a vinotheque with wines from all of Gumpoldskirchen's winegrowers dating back to the 1940s.
There is also an additional exhibition room at the back where various special exhibitions are held. There is also a wonderful little wine museum with a wooden wine press dating back to the 16th century.
Guided tours of the wine-growing museum are available at any time by prior arrangement, and it is possible to walk through the museum on your own at any time during the opening hours of the tourist office.
