Description
The Laubenbachmühle operations center is the heart of the Mariazell Railway. The large glass fronts provide great insights into the operation of the popular narrow-gauge railroad.
The bistro right next to the station serves regional breakfasts, lunches, ice cream, picnic baskets and pastries (open daily).
On a guided tour, you can visit all the buildings and the station and take a look behind the scenes (advance booking, minimum 6 people). The Ötscher model in the station hall shows the region around the Ötscher in miniature. The large playground provides fun and games, the relaxation loungers invite you to relax.
Car-free arrival: you can travel to Laubenbachmühle in comfort and relaxation on the Mariazell Railway. Laubenbachmühle is also a starting point for hiking routes, mountain bike routes and a checkpoint on the 652-Pielachtal circular hiking trail.
