Description

The 20-Schilling-Blick viewpoint is easily accessible via the railroad hiking trail along the Semmering Railway, a UNESCO World Hertige site. From here, there is a particularly rewarding view of the historic Kalte-Rinne viaduct: 184 meters long, 46 meters high and once immortalized on the back of the penultimate 20 schilling banknote.

The view continues over the impressive landscape of the region: the Schneeberg, the highest mountain in Lower Austria, the Rax and the striking Pollereswand, which lies right next to the viaduct.
