Description

The museum is located under the granary of Suttner Castle - Gatterburg. There are currently 140 historic bicycles on display, from 1820 to 1985. The collection ranges from running wheels, pedal crank bicycles and penny-farthings to the first low bicycles. Pictures, lamps, padlocks, tools and other accessories from historic bicycles can also be viewed. There is also a model, with a copy of the original drawing, of a steam-powered tricycle from 1880 in the museum. Some bicycles with auxiliary engines are also on display, as are racing bikes from 1930 to 1985.
