Description

The "Heinz Conrads Tor" stands on the so-called Saubühel in the municipality of Rohrendorf. It consists of two 2.30 m high sandstone pillars connected by a wrought-iron arch. The gate was given the name "Heinz Conrads Tor" in memory of the symbolic "closing" of the Lenz Moser vineyard by actor Heinz Conrad on 6 November 1968. For visitors, especially walkers and cyclists, this spot offers a magnificent view of the municipality of Rohrendorf as far as the Danube and beyond.
Parking is available at the Sepp Moser winery on the Viehtrifftweg to the viewing point.
