Beneath the Hochkar, an impressive world of limestone and millennia of history unfolds. The Hochkar Cave is one of the largest caves in Lower Austria and captivates visitors with its expansive passages, striking layered structures, and unique rock formations.

A highlight is the imposing Pfingsthalle with its impressive dimensions. The cave was formed in Dachstein limestone and shaped over many millennia by the force of water.

The Hochkar Cave can only be visited as part of guided tours. Sturdy footwear and warm clothing are required, as temperatures inside the cave remain cool year-round.
