Hölzerne Kirche in Schwarzenbach an der Pielach

The church is located in the Pielach Valley - in the middle of the forest, at an altitude of 817 m and directly on the pilgrimage route to Mariazell. According to legend, the donkey on which Mary fled to Egypt with the baby Jesus left a trail here. The never-ending water in the "Eselstritt" helps with eye problems.
