If you leave the course of the Kamp near Gars and follow the signs to Tautendorf, you will soon come across the traces of the "Landscape Art Project" on the Wachtberg. High above the Kamp Valley ("Kamptal" in German), numerous sculptures, objects and installations characterize the landscape and reinterpret the term "natural garden". The Wachtberg is a meeting place for exchanging artistic ideas, facilitating creative work, making music and enjoying nature. Meadows, woods, fields and stone hills characterize this place. From May to October at full moon time, the "Lichtung" has served as a backdrop for events since 1994. Symposia are held regularly and bring international artists into dialog with the almost untouched nature. "Der Wachtberg" sees itself as a platform for visual arts, music and dance. The objects are freely accessible and can be hiked all year round - the change in the ensembles over the course of the seasons is particularly attractive.
