Description
The Kunsthalle Krems in the historic tobacco factory is the international exhibition venue for modern and contemporary art in Lower Austria. With over 20 years of history, it is the longest-standing institution on the Kunstmeile Krems, which also includes the Forum Frohner and the Karikaturmuseum Krems as well as the Dominikanerkirche as an additional venue for the Kunsthalle Krems since 2017 and the Landesgalerie Niederösterreich since 2019.

Arrival by train and bus
From Vienna and Salzburg: Westbahn to St. Pölten - train connection to Krems.
From Vienna: Franz-Josefs-Bahn to Krems.
From Krems station take the city bus 1 (Mon-Sat) to the stop "Krems Kunstmeile Krems/Landstraße" or take the VOR bus lines 715, 720, 717 to the stop "Campus Krems". The exact timetable times can be found at www.vor.at
From April to November, take the Wachau train to the "Krems Campus-Kunstmeile Krems" stop.
Approx. 15-20 minutes on foot from Krems train station to Kunsthalle Krems.
