Description
It is the sea of the Lunzer. Its deepest point is 34 meters. Its dream shape (1,700 meters long and 500 meters wide) offers plenty of space for sunbathing, swimming and strolling. It is the only natural lake in Lower Austria and has a water quality of class 1.
A 4,000 square meter sunbathing lawn, a diving tower, table tennis and a well-stocked buffet await you at the lake resort. If you prefer steering to swimming, you can hire a boat. In short: you have to "see" this lake! Summer freshness like back then, reinterpreted.
Since 2004, the lake has also been the backdrop and setting for the Lunzer Seebühne. A diving tower and sun island during the day, the stage is transformed into a unique cultural venue in the evening.
