On display are tools, clay vessels, jewelry, cult objects from the Neolithic Age, Bronze Age, Iron Age and agricultural implements from the last hundred years.

The permanent exhibition shows the prehistoric finds of Josef Höbarth in six rooms.

Man.Soil.Technology - 7,500 years of agriculture - new exhibition in the Maderhalle.

The history of the town of Horn is also highlighted and a separate documentation in the old town tower is dedicated to the robber chief Johann Georg Grasel.

The Nowak Collection of Antiquities contains extraordinary finds from the Greco-Roman Mediterranean region.

Public arrival and departure

Bus/Train
Horn train station is a 10-minute walk from the Excursion destinations. From there, you can also take the 180 bus to the "Horn Hauptplatz" stop. From there it is a 5-minute walk to the museum.

Bicycle
If you like cycling, the Excursion destinations is located on the Kamp-Thaya-March-Route and the Urzeit-Radweg.
You can hire e-bikes directly from the Horn Museum. Other bike hire points are Bike Altmann and E-Bike Lehr.
