In this new museum, the diverse work on a farm in earlier times is presented in true-to-life ensembles.

Individual rooms of the farmyard and outbuildings as well as the forest and fields have been lovingly recreated, equipped with old implements, tools and equipment, providing an insight into the life and work of a farming family in the Waldviertel.

It is not only the completeness of the old equipment that makes the work steps clear, but above all the overall impression that shows the variety of work on a farm from earlier times.

14 ensembles with around 30 professions provide a complete picture of inventiveness, knowledge of nature, well-rehearsed work and time management as well as hard physical labor on a farm in the Waldviertel in earlier times.

The result is a coherent overview of the diverse work on a farm in times long past.
