Description
More than 2500 exhibits have been collected over the centuries and can be viewed in an impressive display.
Karl Piaty (1910 - 1989), the grandfather of local traditional baker Thomas Piaty, collected objects from rural life with great attention to detail. Preserving evidence of the history of the people of his homeland was very important to him and so he expanded the collection piece by piece throughout his life.
The private folklore museum can be visited by groups of 10 people or more by prior arrangement.
