Description

In 1880, a city park was built outside the medieval town center of Krems. The Stadtpark was part of many renewal measures and was modeled on the Vienna Stadtpark. The music pavilion in the city park was added in 1898 as a gift from a Krems bank. The 50th anniversary of Emperor Franz Joseph's accession to the throne was taken as an occasion for this.
