Description
Preserving and restoring cars, motorcycles and tractors worthy of preservation is the aim of the Poysdorf classic car club. The associated classic car museum invites you to discover this motorized world of nostalgia. It is open every Sunday and public holiday from Easter to the end of October.
Numerous exhibits will delight young and old: cars, motorcycles, tractors and stationary engines through to a gyrocopter developed in the region. The museum's showpieces include a Steyr-Opel, a Porsche convertible and several Tatra trucks. An old driving school simulator from the Czech Republic can also be viewed - and tried out.
Tractor hikes with the Poysdorf classic car club
The club members are happy to make their lovingly restored vintage tractors available for a tractor hike: for over 10 years, the quaint excursions have been taking place on Saturday afternoons from May to October. At the wheel of a 15-cylinder Steyr tractor, the route takes you across vineyards and country roads as well as through orchards and wine cellar lanes.
Together with an experienced route guide, guests are on the road for around 3 hours. The leisurely journey through the gentle Weinviertel hills also includes a culinary stop in one of the romantic wine cellar lanes.
