The Palfauer Wasserlochklamm gorge south-east of the Hochkar is a real highlight for all nature lovers. Narrow canyons, rushing waterfalls, deep inlets and wide views make the approximately one and a half hour hike to the waterhole a real experience. Past five impressive waterfalls with a total drop of 152 meters and over wooden bridges, the trail winds its way up step by step. Once you have overcome the final hurdles, you will be rewarded at the viewing platform with deep insights into the spring cave and magnificent views over the Salzatal valley. Sturdy footwear recommended!
