Pfarrkirche

Our parish church, which stands on a rock high above the Danube in the former fortified churchyard and is visible from afar, is dedicated to St. Nicholas. During excavation work for the church heating system in August 1970, the remains of a Romanesque apse were discovered in the presbytery and the burial vault of the Hoyos family and several priests' graves were discovered in a brick vault. On September 11, 2005, a new cross was placed on the church tower for the second time.
