Description
On the southern bank of the Danube near Melk, just before the Danube bridge, opposite Emmersdorf, you can even swim in the nature reserve. The landscape and bird sanctuary at the mouth of the Pielach provides a habitat for numerous animals and is a popular natural bathing spot where you can enjoy the sun.
There are parking spaces nearby and the Danube cycle path runs right past it.
