The TULLN CITY MUSEUM combines the Roman Museum, the exhibition on the imperial convent, and the Virtulleum.
In the Roman Museum, life in the Roman camp “Comagenis” from 90 to 488 AD comes to life. Through comic animations, dioramas with tin figures, and life-size figurines, it showcases Roman civil and military history and takes visitors on a journey back in time to historic Tulln.
Also located in the Tulln City Museum is the Virtulleum, which combines digital experiences with real locations and historical objects, turning the city’s history into your very own personal expedition. With the free Virtulleum app and the “history cubes,” you can start your own personalized city tour.
The Tulln City Museum has been awarded the Austrian Museum Seal of Quality multiple times, which stands for excellence in museum work. Only 223 museums in Austria hold this distinction.
