The TULLN CITY MUSEUM combines the Roman Museum, the documentation on the imperial convent and the Virtulleum.
In the Roman Museum, life in the Roman camp "Comagenis" from 90 to 488 AD comes to life. It shows Roman civil and military history with comic animations, tin figure dioramas and life-size figurines and takes visitors on a journey through time to historic Tulln.
The Virtulleum is also located in the Tulln City Museum. The Virtulleum combines digital experiences with real places and historical objects - turning the city's history into your very own personal expedition. You can start your individual city tour with the free Virtulleum app and the "history cubes".
The Tulln City Museum has been awarded the Austrian Museum Seal of Quality several times, which stands for excellent museum work. Only 223 museums in Austria have received this award. The STADTMUSEUM TULLN therefore not only offers exciting insights into the past, but also an outstanding cultural experience that focuses on quality and history.
