Craftsmanship, terroir and precision form the foundation of Domäne Wachau under the management of Roman Horvath MW and Heinz Frischengruber. Respect for nature and the soil dominates the work of the winegrowers on the steep slopes of the Wachau. Domäne Wachau is the most important winery in Austria with organically cultivated vineyards. With a small structure and largely by hand, our winegrowers work an average of less than two hectares - with full focus on each individual vine. The wines from great vineyards such as Achleiten, Brandstatt and Kellerberg reflect their unique origins and stand for an unmistakable purist style with depth and drinkability.
