The scenic pond at the Dorfstetten recreational area is surrounded by an idyllic natural landscape and invites visitors to relax and linger all year round. Right next to the scenic pond is a spacious
playground that offers children plenty of space to play, explore, and run around. The leisurely Mill Loop Trail (No. 95) also passes by the recreation center and invites visitors to enjoy a relaxing hike through the beautiful countryside.
The Dorfstetten recreational area also features a demonstration mill and a Venetian sawmill with original historical exhibits. Here, visitors gain an interesting insight into life and work as it was about 100 years ago. On a guided tour, you can experience firsthand how grain is ultimately turned into bread and how tree trunks are sawn into planks. Group tours are available for groups of 10 or more by prior arrangement.
Another highlight of the recreation center is the natural bowling alley, which invites visitors to enjoy games, fun, and socializing in the heart of nature. Whether with family, friends, during club evenings, or simply for an active afternoon—the natural bowling alley offers a variety of recreational activities for young and old alike.
