Description
The Hengsthütte is a mountain hut at 1,012 m above sea level in a quiet location surrounded by greenery with down-to-earth cuisine. Wonderful seating in the garden invites you to linger. Thanks to its own Schneebergbahn lift stop, it is an ideal destination and starting point for hikes. The 1-1.5 hour walk from Puchberg, Rohrbach im Graben and Schneebergdörfl flies by in view of the expected temptations: home-distilled schnapps from mountain pines and Swiss stone pines, oven-fresh roast pork with bread dumplings. In winter there is a toboggan rental service if there is enough snow.
