Description
Primary rock is the reason why the wines here, at the foot of the Dunkelstein Forest, acquire their finesse and minerality. And the Müllner family's historic vineyard, which has been in the family for almost two centuries, is also "primary rock". It is a family business, in which daughter Johanna is also heavily involved, and a particularly welcoming establishment. The wine tavern with its cozy parlors and large courtyard garden serves mostly homemade specialties and the variety of wines, ranging from fine sparkling Frizzante and light Grüne Veltliner to Riesling, Gewürztraminer, Chardonnay, Zweigelt and Syrah, leaves nothing to be desired. No less extensive is the selection of fine brandies that round off the range. No wonder they proudly bear the title of Lower Austria's top wine tavern.
