Description
In Rehberg near Krems, the Lorenz family passionately runs the Heurigenwerkstatt, a young wine farms that combines regional quality products from the kitchen and cellar. The vineyards are cultivated organically and ecologically and are located in excellent sites such as Achleiten in the Wachau, Steiner Goldberg and Sommerleiten in the Krems Valley ("Kremstal" in German). The grapes are harvested by hand and carefully processed, the wines are left to mature naturally and thus acquire their characterful expression.
At the wine tavern, guests are spoiled with hearty delicacies: from hearty crusty roasts and rustic brawn to fine sauces or the classic honey pickle - everything is prepared with love and individually seasoned. The atmosphere is friendly and informal; the terrace and outdoor areas invite you to take advantage of the Heurigen times and enjoy the view of Rehberg and the vineyards.
The Heurigenwerkstatt is open during clearly defined times, when you can buy food and drink as well as wines and products directly from the farm.
