Guests in Purgstall in the district of Scheibbs experience an unusual visit to an inn. The Hochrieß inn was built in 1977 in the wooded hills of the Mostviertel region. In the middle of a 23-hectare game park, the brothers Matthias and Philipp Distelberger run more than just an inn. It is a tranquil square farm with a rustic and cozy atmosphere. Game specialties are on the menu all year round. The aromatic roast venison is served with thick root juice and homemade dumplings. A good choice.
