An interesting mix of traditional wine tavern culture with modern elements can be found at the Bauer family's wine tavern in Leobendorf. The approach to the food, for example, is traditional: These are made exclusively from the family's own produce (such as the Weinviertel straw pig or the vegetables) or from regional farms. Of course, the wines and juices are also produced in-house. In contrast, the wine tavern has a modern look - be it in its furnishings or at events such as art exhibitions and readings. The beautiful garden with a view of the Korneuburg basin and Kreuzenstein Castle is neither old nor new, but simply wonderful.
