The Hochschlag hiking rest stop in Reinsberg is known far beyond the cultural village for its delicious farmer's roast from the 100-year-old wood-fired oven. Hikers can also enjoy homemade juices and Cider at 853 m above sea level. A rustic bowling alley is available for exciting duels.

Other specialties at Hochschlag include home-baked pastries, fresh mixed sheep's cheese and crispy wood-fired bread. The nearest peak is the Runzelberg at 950 m, which can be reached in a few minutes from the hiking rest stop.

Opening times: all year round (closed on Tuesday and Wednesday)
