More than 250 years of tradition, respectful treatment of nature and state-of-the-art winemaking are the cornerstones of the 25-hectare family business, which is run by Florian, Karl and Elisabeth Alphart.
Good wine is not a matter of course, but the product of a multitude of decisions - and consistent work. "Our wines should surprise and amaze people," says Florian Alphart, and to achieve this, they chase the "perfect grape" all year round. The motto is: Hands off mediocrity!
