The beautiful "Alte Fähre" is located in the middle of the port of Marbach on the Danube. It has a long tradition and therefore its very own charm. Here you can meet both locals and tourists. Simply a place to feel at home! You can relax on the terrace and enjoy the view over the many boats all the way to the Danube. The ferry is a summer-only operation. The season is usually from May to September (depending on the weather).
The food is probably best described as "home-style". The menu includes classics of Austrian cuisine. The offer is completed by our changing weekly menu, in which fish and seafood play a major role, and our daily lunch menu.
Whether you are a meat, fish, vegetarian or vegan lover ... everyone should get their money's worth here! To round off the whole experience, we also offer wines from Martin Rosenberger, a small winegrower from Unterwölbling who knows his trade inside out. Kathy prepares excellent cocktails with a lot of love and experience. You can also recharge your e-bike battery while enjoying the culinary delights.
