At the foot of the Bisamberg is the stop of the same name on Vienna's S3 + S4 rapid transit lines. The market town with the 358 m high mountain as its namesake is located about 5 km from the provincial capital of Vienna. The unmanned train stop offers the possibility of boarding around the clock thanks to the ticket machine. There are also connections to various bus lines of the Eastern Region Transport Association.

Away from the train

From the station, you can visit Bisamberg Castle. Built in the Renaissance style, the castle came into the possession of the noble Abensberg and Traun families in 1640. It was sold to a factory owner in 1961 and has been privately owned ever since.

Interesting facts

The main line of the Vienna rapid transit network is located in the center of Vienna between Floridsdorf and Meidling. However, the so-called outer line to Stockerau has also been in operation since the opening of the main line in 1962.
