Hainburg Ungartor train station

The single-track station Hainburg Ungartor along the Vienna S7 rapid transit line is located in the municipality of Hainburg an der Donau in the Lower Austrian district of Bruck an der Leitha. At the station, a covered waiting bunk and a ticket vending machine have been installed, as well as several parking spaces and over 15 parking spaces for bicycles.

• Connecting buses to Bruck an der Leitha and Bratislava are also available.

Destination

The impressive Braunsberg mountain provides an imposing backdrop to the Hainburg Ungartor stop, although the plateau can be reached on foot in only about half an hour via a family-friendly hike from the station. You will be rewarded with a Celtic watchtower and a fantastic view all the way to neighboring Bratislava after visiting the history-steeped trail.
