Maria Anzbach station is located along the Westbahn line in the similarly named market town of Maria Anzbach. At each of the two platforms, which can be reached by means of an underpass, there are waiting facilities as well as ticket machines for convenient ticket purchase. Nearly 30 parking spaces for cars and mopeds are provided for rail passengers.

  • Maria Anzbach station is located on the Westbahn line, the "Kaiserin Elisabeth Bahn", built in 1881, from Linz to Vienna.
  • Regional express trains to Vienna Westbahnhof as well as to St. Pölten main station connect here.
  • Express trains of the S50 to Neulengbach as well as to Vienna Westbahnhof are served every half hour.
  • A bus stop with buses to St. Christophen, Neulengbach, Eichgraben and Pressbaum is only a few minutes' walk away.

Place of pilgrimage Maria Anzbach

It is only a 10-minute walk from the Maria Anzbach train station to the large pilgrimage church in the center of town. The Roman Catholic parish has existed in the village since about 1300, the building since the 15th century. For many years, followers of the faith have been making pilgrimages to the church to the numerous sacred buildings in the village.

Tip: For the physical well-being provides in the village the team "Zur Mühle". Seasonal cuisine is served with matching wines and the rustic charm of the old mill as a backdrop.
