Prinzersdorf station is located in the market town of the same name on the southern edge of the Dunkelsteinerwald. Glazed waiting berths offer rail travelers shelter from the wind and weather, as well as an entertaining view of the extensive Mostviertel region. The two platform facilities are structurally separated and can be reached safely via an underpass.
Thanks to the ticket vending machine, tickets can be purchased easily around the clock, and loudspeaker announcements and timetable displays provide information about current train services.
The Park & Ride facility has been generously designed and offers space for more than 70 cars and mopeds. Almost 60 bicycles can be stored in the Bike & Ride station.

- Regional trains to Scheibbs, Pöchlarn and the main station in St. Pölten stop here.
- Cityjet trains run to Amstetten, St. Valentin and Vienna Westbahnhof.

The Pielach Valley offers numerous opportunities for exploration and is definitely worth a trip. Visiting the magical landscapes of the Mostviertel up close by bike is probably one of the best ways to enjoy this enchanting part of Lower Austria. Cycle along the Pielachtal cycle path from Melk to Loich-Dobersnigg, and you can also join and leave the route from Prinzersdorf train station.
