Description

Puchenstuben station is a well-known mountain line stop on the Mariazell Railway. From here it is not far to the nature attractions in the Pielach Valley and the Ötscher-Tormäuer Nature Park. Puchenstuben is one of the 7 designated nature park stations - together with Winterbach, Gösing, Reith, Wienerbruck, Erlaufklause and Mitterbach.

Nostalgic, historic, culinary: by train to Puchenstuben

The Mariazell Railway offers great special trips from St. Pölten to Mariazell: on selected dates, the historic steam locomotive Mh. 6 brings its guests to the pilgrimage destination. The dining car offers regional delicacies, drinks and breakfast in the panorama car. The Pielach Valley and Ötscher region are a particularly beautiful experience.

Special hiking trains and combined tickets for the train journey and the Ötscher Nature Park round off the offer - always from May to October.
