Art & culture in Wieselburg
The Wieselburg brewery is well known far beyond the borders of Lower Austria and can also be visited as part of a tour of the brewery. The brewery museum and the large number of exhibits on display are unique in Austria and definitely a bad-weather tip.
Another museum highlight can also be found in Wieselburg: the Museum of Prehistory and Early History. Numerous themed exhibits from excavations in the Erlauf region offer impressive insights into the early historical origins and development of the region. The famous Celtic sword, which was discovered during excavation work in Wieselburg, can also be viewed on site.

Of course, if you are in the area and have your bike with you, get on it and enjoy the Erlauftal valley along the well-signposted Erlauftal cycle path.
